The London Centre for the History of Science, Medicine and Technology formed in 1987 as a strategic alliance for graduate training. It brings together leading academic centres of research and teaching in the subject, making it the single largest concentration of expertise in Britain for the subject. The London Centre also is closely linked to The Science Museum, UCL Museums and Collections, and the National Maritime Museum.
